The Book of Life Podcast covers Jewish kidlit, mostly, with occasional coverage of Jewish books for teens and adults, albums, films, websites, or other cultural artifacts that could be found in a Judaic library like our sponsor, the Feldman Children's Library at Congregation B'nai Israel of Boca Raton, Florida. If you have created such a work, then you are welcome to submit it to The Book of Life to be considered for an interview.
To be considered for an interview, email firstname.lastname@example.org with a description of your work. If we are interested, we will ask you to mail a hard copy (print book, CD, DVD, etc.) or digital copy. Please be patient while waiting for your submission to be reviewed: it may take several months. Heidi's "to be read" pile is very large!
If selected, you will be contacted to schedule an interview. Interviews are performed by Zoom or in person when convenient. We audio record the interviews and edit them before publishing. Because there are usually many recordings already in the queue, it may take several months before your interview is published.
Interviewees who live in Canada or will be visiting the Toronto area may be interviewed by Anne Dublin, The Book of Life's Canadian Correspondent.
Guests should plan to help promote their appearances on The Book of Life. Please see below for suggestions.
We look forward to your submissions!
